One of the services we are most proud of here at Junction City Local Aid is our free Clothing Department! We are able to share gently used clothes, coats, shoes, accessories, sheets, towels, etc. with our neighbors and those in need do not have to pay a cent!
Each month, we give away, on average, 800-1,000 items of clothing to 350-400 individuals. Our fabulous team of Clothing Department volunteers sort, size, and arrange all of the donated items, and then make themselves available to help put together the perfect outfit, or guide folks in finding the best-fitting shoes and the warmest coat.
During certain times of year (late Summer and the Christmas holidays), we also work with community partners to provide new underwear, bras, socks, and other necessities for those who just don’t have the resources.
We accept donations of new and gently used clothing items during our pantry hours: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm. For more information, email us or call 541.998.3992.
